I have installed fresh windows xp on an old think pad.
My fresh installation of eventghost crashes. Event viewer: Faulting application eventghost.exe, version 0.4.1.1700, faulting module cfunctions.pyd, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000024b4.
Any ideas what could be the problem?

Re: faulting module cfunctions.pyd
If you search the forum, you will find that I had non-fixable problems with later versions of EG when trying to run on XP. Also the computers where non-compatible with Windows 7 and later, most updates to major software's where also refused. So at the end, I had to buy new computers. Thank you Microsoft!!!
For my own EG home automation system I use this:

As workstation and development & office applications, I use this

with an external BenQ 24 inch monitor
