How can Meedio music player execute an action?
How can Meedio music player execute an action?
First I'd like to say that EventGhost is a fantastic piece of software! Only a few things left to work out. I am currently using Meedio with the Winamp plug-in to play music through a USB DAC to my Rotel preamp. Everything else is sent digitally via SPDIF. Winamp is always running in the background so I can't figure out how to send an event to change my preamp input when I start and finish playing music. My current setup is to have the USB output as default and have every single other program switch to digital when launched. Any help is appreciated.

Haven't got the point really. How do you change the input without EG? Manually on the Rotel or through a driver setting on the PC?
Please post software-related questions in the forum - PMs will only be answered, if really private, thanks!
Re: How can Meedio music player execute an action?
Sorry about that! I do use EG to change the input on the Rotel. I use a USB-UIRT to transmit the IR signal. So every time I launch Zoom Player or BeyondTV I use task.activated to switch the input to digital. When I close those programs I send the IR signal to switch to analog. I would much prefer to leave it set to digital and only switch to analog when I play music. The reason for this is because Meedio is then stuck in analog. I have to manually switch to digital (using a remote button) for a variety of other applications in Meedio that only output digital.
The problem is there is no task.activated event when I play music using Meedio.
