Using a Sequence with a Remote?

Post by BuzzUKO »

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro running Windows 10 and EventGhost.
I have no problems using it, but I want to be able to use a certain button sequence on the remote to activate an action.
Is it even possible? How?

Thanks!

The macro must be higher in the eg tree then any other macro containing the the same buttons, the first button can not be used for anything other than starting combination of button macros.

So basically it's kind of a tree in which every step of the process it's enabling and disabling the next level macros depending on what event it received.
Am I Right?

Yes, Each step enables the next step. The first step has a timer to disable all the macros so the combination of buttons must be completed in the set amount of time. Also when a macro is enabled you should have the macro enabling the next button disable any macros ( not in this setup) containing the next button for a period of time so other actions are not executed..... I have not used this for years as I use my phone instead of a remote to trigger most events, but when it was used it worked!
