Logging into web page with eventghost

Hello,

I am using Windows 10 Home with eventghost version 0.4.1.r1700. I am new to eventghost and am trying to use it to log in to specific websites on my computer. As an example I am trying to open chrome and log in to Netflix when I press a button in irule. I have the irule button linked to eventghost and have made it up to entering the username/psswd but then it stops. I am unable to get the emulate keystrokes action to enter in the necessary login info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

this is a long shot, what happends if you emulate a {TAB} then {ENTER} to make it jump to the "OK" or "LOGIN" button at that webpage? Im not at my eventghost server now so can't test it myself.

Thanks for the feedback. After running the eventghost macro my cursor is active in the username box. But for some reason when I add another emulating keystrokes action to the macro to type in my username it doesn't work (maybe you can only have one emulate keystroke action in a given macro? I also use it in the same macro to type in Netflix.com). I also tried copying the username to the clipboard and emulating cntrl+v to paste it in but that didn't work either. To make a long story short I opted to just leave myself logged in which has the side benefit of loading the page faster. Thanks again for the feedback though.

I have tried a some emulate key strokes macros I found out the between some of the events I had to put in "wait some time" between some emulate kystrokes otherwise the events would trigger to fast.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually got it to work by using the toggle left mouse button command dwn/up to click on my bookmark and then entering the sign in information via emulate keystrokes. Before I believe I was using the left mouse button command which I think was leaving the mouse in a weird state.
