Hello!
First post, I'm a noob so please have patience.
Here's what I'm trying to do: I want MediaMonkey to launch when EventGhost receives the message "music" from my phone. Ive opened a new config tree, added Autoremote and registered the devices, added Mediamonkey plugin. I then sent the message from my phone to get the event in the log, dragged the event into the Start mediamonkey macro, before the action. The first time i hot the "send message" from my phone, Mediamonkey launched as expected, however, I can't get it to launch again when i resend the message.
Can someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong here. It's afwaully hard to find comprehensive tutorials on this program on the web.

Noob - It's just not working
Re: Noob - It's just not working
Is it already running the 2nd time you try it? i.e. do you need to switch to it, rather than start it?
It looks like you've got it set up correctly. Got the latest version of the plugin?
I use the start application action, rather than the plugin itself to launch programs, eg.

Hello!
Thanks for trying to help out. Your suggestion seems to have solved the problem, it is now launcheing the action on every instance of received message.
I made another post, better adhering to forum rules. but it has not been approved yet. SO I'll get into that.
First of all, I'm using the latest version of EventGhost, and WIn 7 Ultimate, SP1.
I did mangage to make it work halfassedly, before i got this reply, but only the first time I launch the macro after EventGhost startup.
That is, when I first launched EventGhost, and Mediamonkey is closed, the macro will work as intended. If I then closed both the mmremote app on my phone, and mediamonkey on the PC, then start mmremote again on my phone, nothing happenened. So, the same macro worked and then not, under similar conditions, save for the fact that it is running a second time when it fails. See the image below, that contains a successful and a failed run of the macro. I've seemingly solved the problem, but I'm posting it in case there are any error geeks there who want to try and crack it.
As you can see, the two attempts look identical in the log.
What I was trying to do was to have mmremote (android app) launch mediamonkey if it was not already open. mmremote doesn't need mediamonkey in focus to function, thank god.
I think the makers of tasker should just buy out the makers of evengtghost and all the autoapps for a vulgar sum (totally deserved, these are really great plugins) and integrate everything.
Anyway, thanks again for helping out.

Ok a bit of confusion possible there. mmremote is the android remote control for pc, and launching it sends the message 'music' to EventGhost...
