Looking for the best wifi or ethernet IR blaster.
I'm not very pleased with the mce-ir (gets a lot of false events after I turn on the Tv, USB only) and usb-uirt (USB only, doesn't catch signal from everywhere like the mce-ir).
I hope to find something that works well.

Cool
I'm still looking for one.
It needs an android device?
The mce ir and usb uirt emitters are just awfull as every second command I send from EG gets stuck for like 3 secs.

Arduino
costs about 5 beans another buck fifty for the wifi card and maybe another buck for the it receiver and transmitter
you have to code the firmware for it tho there are a massive amount of libraries out there for ir and for networking the things
there is a guy who wrote a firmware for it called etherevents so it can talk directly to eventghost

I use a IPtoIR from Global Cache, it works great but requires some coding.
