So having run into a wall on my last few attempts at making my green button turn on my TV and stereo, I just had a new thought on how I might accomplish this. I have a tablet that sits on my living room table, and does basically nothing all day. I originally wanted to use it for home automation, and media control, which it does to some extent. I have installed Anymote on the tablet, which is a program used for IR, and web control of external devices. The tablet is a Samsung galaxy note 2014, and has an IR blaster at the top of it. Could I install Event Ghost on the tablet, then create a macro where a long button press on my PC jumps to an event on the tablet that executes IR blasts within the anymote app? Here is a link to app I am referring to

EG on PC triggers IR blast on tablet?
Re: EG on PC triggers IR blast on tablet?
You cannot install eventghost on an Android tablet. However it appears Anymote has Tasker integration, so you should be able to do this with Tasker.
