Hello all, big fan of this software, totally feels like a swiss army knife program so it crossed my mind that I might be able to solve my problem with this instead of installing a new program.
I game on the PC with a Xbox 360 Controller but I would like to change the 'Back' (or 'select' as I thought it was) button to do a global hotkey of "Control + F3" so that my Plays.tv program will record the last 30 seconds of gameplay.
I tried the 'joystick addon' and can see the button press but this doesn't seem to trigger while in game.
Anyway around this? Maybe an option I've missed?
Maybe another way to go about this?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Reconfiguring Xbox 360 Controller Button as a Hotkey
well being that the xbox is a computer. what is most likely happening is that the game is grabbing control of the "joystick" and not posting events on movement or button presses, no way around this. even if you are using the controller for playing a game on the computer if's going to function the exact same way. it's taking over control of pointer movements and not telling windows what's going on there for no events. so unless a new driver is made to isolate the controller from windows and it just acts as a go between to know what is pressed i don't think there is a way around it.
again this is just a guess at whats going on
