Need Help - Stopped Working!!!

Latest Version of Event Ghost
Latest Version of WMC Plugin

Everything was working up until recently. No changes that I am aware of.
When I use the remote the proper registration shows up in the log on the left in Event Ghost, but nothing happens.
When I exit Event Ghost, Windows Media Center (on Windows , does not seem to recognize ANY remote commands.

Where do I look next?

what version of windows are you running??? and did you just recently upgrade something???

It is Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center.

There have been no changes I've made, unless Windows did an update itself which did this.

there is that possibility, you can go into the uninstall programs and select the show updates. and look at the dates they were installed and see if you can find a time frame that fits when you started having problems. but something has to have changed

and when you install the alternatemceir service with the plugin it removes a couple of reg keys so that eg takes over for the remote. so it wouldn't work in windows unless you married a specific command from eg to an action.

if you want the remote to function in both i can dig up the reg keys and put them into a .reg file for ya so you can re add them. but you will end up with bumping heds because if you want button 1 to open the command prompt and you have windows mce open. wmc will press 1 and the command window will open. because both see the press.
