Simple lighting control

Post by ruggie2 »

I'd like to use my Snapstream remote and EG to simply turn a light on and off. I have a Powerlinc 1132U that uses the simple Direct Control software shown below. Is it possible to simply have EG push the on and off button? There is no documentation available for this software.

Worst case you can do a find window and move mouse absolutes, that would be a hackjob but EG does have that ability.

But first I would recommend trying to get the correct parameters for a Send Message action. You could try for example using a program called Winspector to figure out the correct windows message + wparam + lparam to send.

To do this:

-Start winspector
-In winspector select your window to monitor and open the "messages" view for that window
-Go click the button
-Look for the correct message if it can be found in the messages view in winspector

If you do find it this way then you can just use the Send Message action in eventghost to trigger the button.

I don't mean to bring up a dead topic, and if it's against board rules then please delete, but I made a request for a plugin to control the SmartHome PowerLinc 1132U X10 controller natively.

>>> Here <<< is the post.
