only proceed with macro if system is idle?

Post by Quaddy »

hi guys, i did try searching and even tried a few snippets i saw on slightly related threads, but couldn't get it working

i have attached a screenshot of a fairly basic task i have and within that want to add in some statement, so it will only lock my pc if is idle via the system.idle event i see in the log occasionally

to explain a bit more, eventghost on my pc receives a message from my phone via autoremote, to lock the pc when my pebble watch (bluetooth) goes out of range/disconnects from phone

however, i find it sends this message really when it shouldn't, when i am at my computer, so wanted to add in the system.idle event to lessen this occurrance

thanks a lot for any links or pointers!

@pearbear - WOW - thank you so much, that works exactly how i wished for, i just wouldn't have thought / or known to add those elements to control the flow like that being new to EG, it works as expected and enables and disables the task respectively

really appreciate it, cheers :D
