Trigger Macro from any USBUIRT event?

Post by eruji »

Im moving from Girder to EG...

is there a way to add a USBUIRT:ALL to a macro?

meaning that ANY input received by the USBUIRT will trigger a macro?

This would be easier than adding every possible button on my remote as an event for a macro.

You want that every button triggers the same macro everytime? Quite curious. But you can do it. Just rename an event to "USB_UIRT.*" and it will react on everything.

Excellent....

Thanks.. the purpose is to reset a "shutdown" timer to power off my TV,HTPC and components.

The wife and kiddos leave everything on. The timer will reset on every button press. If its not reset in two hours i want it to shut everything down.
