Great little project, I managed to get Vista(ultimate) MCE setup using my USB-UIRT and MCE remote. A few things I noticed:
1) system sound:up/down/mute did not work, so I just used the keyboard emulation and picked the MCE keys.
2) USB-UIRT generates two codes for each thing I press on the remote, this confused me for a long time until I realized the #'s generated were alternating for the same button. Not hard to deal with, just drag both values to the macro.
Needs a better manual/docs since it took me about an hour to get it figured out(and I've been using computers for 28 years)
