Keyboard.MediaPlayPause not triggering MediaPlayPause event

Post by Bartman »

I'm using the keyboard and an USB-UIRT to control my apps.
I have mapped the cryptic USB-UIRT event codes to more readable names.
To reduce the number of events i named the basic functions the same as the events from the keyboard and assigned an event name without the prefix.

USB_UIRT.MediaPlayPause and Main.MediaPlayPause from a script work fine but Keyboard.MediaPlayPause does not trigger the macro. I does not even show up in the log, when the bottom left checkbox is checked.
The same is with other keys like Keyboard.MediaNextTrack and Keyboard.MediaPrevTrack.

Latest Beta on XP Pro SP3.

The keyboard events will only work, if they are used in the full-qualified form. So the macro must have a "Keyboard.MediaPlayPause" event. A "MediaPlayPause" event isn't enough. This is because keyboard events also block the key and otherwise a user could come to easily into awkward conditions of his system.
