Nice, I can use this to automate an Alexa skill when I get home :o.

EG "Alexa turn on SLatty home greeting" ...

Alexa... "Welcome Slatty would you like me to tell you how amazing you are today?"

Slatty... "Yes Please" --- I'm English even computers get the courtesy of politeness!

Alexa... "Well you're not amazing, so sod off out my house!"

Second thoughts might give this a miss

I mentioned a use case on github. I created this plugin because I like to listen to podcasts, but there are no displays around (hard to believe these days). So, how about an interactive button on a remote control to tell me (voice) how long to the end of the track or which track it is? eSpeak has some capability to spell numbers, that may be enough for English, but I made additional EG plugin to spell numbers in Lithuanian language.

BTW there is alternative TTS plugin called Speech, that one uses Windows SAPI (big beast). So you may have even more choice of voices and technologies. Speaking of which eSpeak integrates with yet another-- MBROLA.
