send different IR codes each time remote button is pressed?

Hello,
First I must say that this software is great! I am currently working on changing over from Girder.

I currently have the following working in Girder and would like to know how to do the same in Event Ghost.

I am using a USB-UIRT. I have a small remote with 4 buttons, each button transmits a different code. I want to be able to use another remote and only use 1 button on that remote and have it cycle thru each remote code.

so basically I press the "tv input" button on the new remote and it does the following:
first time button pressed-transmit code 1
second time button pressed-transmit code 2
third time button pressed-transmit code 3
fourth time button pressed-transmit code 4
fifth time button pressed-transmits code 1 (starts sequence all over again)

I hope this makes sense. This took forever in Girder to figure out and I am transitioning to Event Ghost.

I'm assuming you mean you will press a button on the remote and you want the USBIRT to cycle through transmitting 4 different codes?? Maybe I didn't catch you question right.

If so, it looks like it should be easy to do. Check out the State Macro examples that come with the program. Just expand on how they are done to add the remote press and the transmit action to each state.

thanks you hit the nail right on the head. The example helped and I was able to easily set up this up very easily. This software is soo much friendlier than Girder!!!!!!
