I want to be able to change the sound output with the remote, for an example change from my speakers to my head phones. I tried the sound mixer plugin but it doesn't look like I have any control with that over the individual sound. The only thing that works to change there that actually have any effect is master volume but with that can I only mute all sound. It's possible to change the sound output with the help of the program RTHDCPL.exe.
So if anyone know a way to change from speakers to head phones without using the mixer (since it doesn't seems to work) or how to fix so the mixer settings actually make any difference I would be very grateful.
I'm using:
EventGhost 0.3.6.1447
Realtek HD Audio

Change sound output
Re: Change sound output
Have you tried the SoundMixerEx plugin?
This plugin should expose *ALL* controls available to the standard Windows soundmixer, which exposes all controls available through the standard API within Windows.
If these controls are not available, RealTek uses a non-standard API for these functions...
