Hi,
i am using a wireless keyboard and have some extra keys that i'd like to reprogram. some of them have standard functionality (volume, launch browser etc) and while using EG the functionality I want is fulfilled, the buttons are also still adjusting volumes etc.
So is there a way to "intercept" the events so that they are processed only within EG?

ok, answering my own post, but found out i can disable these keys through the tweakui package

If you don't want Windows to process them at all, you can also disable the HID Service. You'd need to re-implement whatever functionality you want inside of Eventghost.

I don't wish to drag up an old post.
But I have a similar issue.
I have an IR remote, just a no name wireless presenter. I bought it as I only want the ability to use about 6 keys to trigger macros.
Unfortunately it isn't setup like I thought it was, it combines both key presses with HID actions.
For example, one key will trigger the mute button, whereas another will trigger the 'b' key. Now there was two buttons, the mute and play / pause button. I managed to intercept these events, by disabling the HID service and using EventGhost to do something else instead.
However, I am having issues with the other buttons, as they trigger standard key presses. Does anyone have any idea how I can disable the key presses coming from that usb port / device and just use eventghost to send new events?
