USB UIRT does not capture IR Signal from IR remote
USB UIRT does not capture IR Signal from IR remote
I'm a little new with EG but I have had it working in the past with my firefly remote. I am trying to get it to work with the Time Warner IR remote that controls the Samsung SMT H3050 digital cable box. The problem is that some of the buttons on the remote generate a standard IR code that the USB UIRT picks up fine; other buttons don't register anything even though they execute functions on the cable box. Does anyone know what is going on? Is Samsung using some non-standard proprietary codes that the USB UIRT can't recognize?
