Sending a key to a game?

Post by Oz »

I found a great game "Frozen Bubbles" that is simple to play, and would work perfectly justing playing with my remote on my htpc. Problem is, when EventGhost sends a key to Frozen Bubbles, it is ignored. Is there any alternative method to send a keystroke that may help? I assume it must be using DirectInput, though I'm not sure, but since EventGhost sends the arrow keys properly to every other app, I don't know if this can be fixed. If not no biggie, but just thought I'd throw it here before I gave up. Thanks!

I just tried this game (very nice indeed), but I'm afraid it will not work with EG. As you already assume, such programs intercept the keyboard on a very low-level way. If I have some more time, I will investigate if a emulation can be found. Perhaps there is a chance in the future, but not currently.
