I am trying to run XBMC using EventGhost to manage my MCE Remote. I have a shortcut for starting up XBMC through EventGhost, but most of the time XBMC doesn't manage to get the focus because for some reason EventGhost itself keeps the taskbar on top. This probably has to do something with updating the icon (green to yellow, etc). I have even tried a 'find window XBMC' and then give both a 'bring to front' and 'set always on top' but this doesn't do anything to help it.
So I am hoping that EventGhost can either be fixed in that it doesn't keep the taskbar in front OR that there will be an option implemented in EventGhost that makes the icon completely static (no colors to show activity) or even hide the icon -- especially the last one might come in handy for minimalists.

Re: EventGhost keeps taskbar in front of fullscreen application
This is most likely not an EG issue. I have many fullscreen apps running with EG and not such problem. Changing a icon in the systray is normal under Windows. A program that would have problems with this, well, this program really would have a problem.
