How to learn short IR command with USB-UIRT

Post by Bartman »

I would like to learn some discrete codes of a device. The problem is that the code is not repeated as long as I press the button but onyl a short burst, not matter how long I press the button.
The progress bar only jumps to 25% and thats it.
I have searched for pronto code but had no luck.

Did you try moving it closer? Did you mess with the settings in the plugin? I have experienced this with my cable box remote back when i used Girder solely. And sometimes it just plain didn't have a fix for only having the bar move that far, but yet still worked correctly. Hope that helps a little.

The signal strength goes way up, but the remote control only sends a short burst. (Indicated by a small icon on the display).
The learning process only seems to work with with a code which repeats itself as long as the button is pressed.

Have you tried the "Accept Burst" option?
