I have used Windows Remote Desktop Connection to run EventGhost (0.3.5c.908) without a problem on the remote host until I tied to change a Python script contained in an EventGhost macro on the remote machine. I seem to able to do everything (execute, rename, delete etc) but could not edit the script (either by double clicking the item or selecting configure item).
PLEASE ADVISE

You seem to be using a bit of an old version, you can get the latest beta here
If you are using a small resolution on the remote connection the configure window might open offscreen. Try opening it(so you know it should be open) and press alt+space and choose "Move". If the window is actually open but simply opens outside the visible area you should be able to move it back in to view with the arrow keys.
If that does nothing for you then I'm out of ideas, as far as I know there shouldn't be an issue opening the python script configure window...

Re: PUZZLED -How to configure item via Remote Desktop Connection
Hi Jinxdone!
Thanks for the suggestions: But now I am really PUZZLED. I did the following.
I uninstalled EventGhost_0.3.5c which faithfully executed my script even via remote desktop (but I could not configure it via remote desktop).
I installed EventGhost_0.3.6.1486 and found I could reconfigure my script via remote desktop BUT the script did not execute correctly entering into an infinite loop repeating an OSD which is part of the script (see file attached). Please note that all the macros used to develop the script all still work fine!! Has there been a language change?
I uninstalled EventGhost_0.3.6.1486 and installed the slightly older EventGhost_0.3.6.1484 with the same result as EventGhost_0.3.6.1486
I uninstalled EventGhost_0.3.6.1484 and installed EventGhost_0.3.5c and am puzzled that my script is now configurable via remote desktop and works fine on execution.
SO WHY DOES MY SCRIPT "IR CONTROLLER" NOT WORK on the latest versions of EventGhost???
I am impressed with EventGhost and Python and would like to continue to use them but with confidence!
