Phillips SRM 5100 on Vista x64

Post by tomhanks »

I have this Philips SRM 5100 universal control for media center, and I am trying to make it work with XBMC on Vista x64. Is it possible to custumize it┬┤s butons in EventGhost?
I tried to install the MCE replacement driver to make it work with EG, but no success Windows says it┬┤s a corrupted driver.

Anyone got it working? Is it really possible on X64?

Thanks!

If your Philips SRM 5100 is like the Philips SRM7500 it actually sends a completely different set of HID codes than the normal MCE remotes do. You might be able to just map this remote using the HID plugin. I know I had trouble figuring out the PHilips 7500 in my application Intelliremote because it works differently than most of the other "MCE" based remotes I have seen.
