EG not starting if already running in another account

Post by zeflash »

Hi

I'm sharing a laptop with my wife, and each have a specific account. I recently figured I should install eventghost on the laptop, mainly to control the TV remotely.
So, I install EG - as an administrator - and EG shows up on both environments. So far so good.
The trouble is, when it's running for one user and I switch to the other user, the second instance doesn't show up.
In process explorer, I can see 3 processes of EG after a while - the one from the first user, and 2 processes running on the current user. Both of those instances only use about 5MB each, compared to the first instance using 25MB.. One of those spawns up after a while, not right away. The command line has an "embedded" command option in it.
I use the network sending, the keyboard and the task event plugins in both envs.

How can I have both EG running in parallel? It usually works for most applications. Could it be a resource conflict from a plugin?
