Same key twice

Post by tatanka »

Hi- Running 0.3.6.1476 / TinyXP (SP3) here and I'm trying to program a Yamaha RAV367 remote into XBMC and other things. This is the remote that comes with the RX-V1800 AVR.

Problem is, i press a key on the remote and EG registers the event. Then, if I press the same key again, I get nothing. I have to press a different key. It's like EG remembers the last key and won't let me do the same key twice in a row.

My generic MCE remote doesn't have this problem. I've also got a remote for an Oppo DVD player that works like the Yamaha. EG displays codes from both remotes like this: MceRemote.xxxx where xxxx is a hex number (different numbers for different keys).

Any idea how to fix? Many thanks for any ideas!

Have a look in the log of EventGhost if the key of the remote sends two different events.

Nope -- the log only shows one event.

For instance, if I push the right arrow 4 times and then the left arrow, the log shows 1 right arrow (the first one) and 1 left arrow. Yet, the AVR is responding to every keypress, and the LED on my computer's IR receiver is coming on for every keypress.
