getting firefly remote to work

I noticed the intro said 'supports snapstream firefly directly' but my installation (latest version) doesn't seem to 'see' events from my firefly remote nor do I see any addable plugins for that remote. My firefly remote works fine with BTV otherwise however.

What am I missing?

I have no Firefly myself but I think some user has reported it works.

Do you have the X10 plugin installed and have set it to "SnapStream Firefly"? If this doesn't work, try the "Generic X10" setting.

Yes I have read of users that got it working.

I have the X10 plugin installed but I don't find where to set it to SSF. Accessing the event properties seem to have an error though....

Just did the upgrade...no more errors on event properties.

I notice that somehow, sourceforge lead me to the earliest possible build!

Now exploring the webserver plugin...

Slightly OT, but is it intended as a way to allow other PCs to access content from the specified www root thereby allowing events to be generated to trigger macros?

If I set it up on 80, placed a file test.html should I expect to see HTML:test in the logger? I'm not seeing any HTML events whatsoever.

What am I missing?

...or maybe it is intended for XML to be placed in the doc root, and then viewed in order to be executed? VERY useful feature that I am hoping to get working to tie everything together.

You have to extend the URL with a questionmark and the event you want:
http://localhost/index.html?MyEvent
