MCE remote plugin + Zoom Player plugin

Post by MatF »

I've just installed EventGhost and I absolutely love it. It's the first effective remote control manager I've found that works reliably in ZP. However, it's a bit confusing; what I'm trying to figure out it is to how to assign a button on the remote to a function in ZP. I assume this involves editing the python file, which isn't a problem, but I'm completely unsure how to, say, make it so when I press the "OK" button on my MCE remote it pops up the ZP control bar. If anyone could give me some starting tips on how to do this, I'd be much appreciated. Thank you.

Create a macro with the ZP function.
Press the button on the remote.
Drag and drop the event from log on the left to the function in the tree. That's basically it.

I answered my own question. It was merely noticing that I had to drag and drop the button event into a new macro to set it up how I wanted. God, this program is awesome.

edit: thanks to the above poster. I should have read that before posting again.
