bluetooth remote

Post by dbbd »

I would like to use bluetooth for remote control.
I searched the forums and discovered the PS3 remote control plugin. Great.
However, I don't have a PS3 remote. I could buy one, or some other generic BT remote
(are there any???).
And then I found a question about FMA - some project for controlling a pc using a sony
ericson cellphone. Well' I don't have a sony ericson either.
Is there a generic way to use any BT cellphone to send events to EG?

Any other pointers/ideas regarding BT remote control?

Thanks,
Dan

I have connected the phone to the bluetooth stack. I added it as a generic HID device.
EG receives continuous event from the phone.
How do I generate other events?

I guess I need some java app that will issue HID events over BT. Anyone
knows of such an app?
