EventGhost + XBMC + Dvico. help please

Post by dusty_nz »

I am just trying to set up eventghost to work with XBMC and my usb dvico remote.
the remote is detected as an HID device so I am just using that.

I press a button on the remote and see it show in the logs as
HID.Value.1 249

However when I drag it to the otherside to the correspnding action it drops the 249 and onlu shows as HID.Value.1 and triggers on every remote button as they only differ on the ext, eg "249"

If I copy the name then it does not trigger that event at all.

Please help

I found the option "Use raw data for the event code" in the HID plugin configuration sorted this out.

Now the only problem I have is the initial keypress registers as one code, and it uses another code if the key is held. The "held down" code also repeats very quickly.
