I am using a Rocketfish bluetooth dongle along with a PS3 remote control and the issue that I'm having is that some times after I go into the desktop from Suspend mode, Eventghost does double keystrokes for all keys. So if anyone can tell me what I should do then I'd be most appreciated.
I am using Vista x64 Sp1 fully updated. My EventGhost version is 0.3.7.r851.

Re: EG double keystrokes after suspend?
Try stopping(disable it) and re-enabling the PS3 remote plugin. Does that help?

You should better post your problems in this thread:

Please post software-related questions in the forum - PMs will only be answered, if really private, thanks!

Re: EG double keystrokes after suspend?
if at any time it does start double keystroking... i restart Eventghost and it no longer does the double keystrokes. I think its mainly an issue with Eventghost more than anything the Ps3 remote is the cause of since the issue rectifies itself imediatly the moment i restart Eventghost and the fact that it doesnt double keystroke all the time but, only some times after suspend mode.

Hi,
Do you have seen the following post?
I think, it's not a general toppic of EventGhost. It could be an issue of the plugin, otherwise this issue will be appear on each remote control. In this case this problem should be better post in this thread.oblivionlord wrote:if at any time it does start double keystroking... i restart Eventghost and it no longer does the double keystrokes. Re: EG double keystrokes after suspend?
I found a way that I can get it to double click from suspend mode. I have to turn the system on from suspend and immediately press a lot of buttons one after the other while its trying to initialize the plugin in Eventghost in the background. If I don't press a lot of buttons at this time then it works normally. However once it starts to do double keystrokes, there is no way to stop it from doing that unless i stop the plugin.
When it does double keystroke I did disable the plugin to see what would happen. While it is disabled it still works. That to me seems odd. It actually works perfectly regardless how many buttons I press in session while the plugin is disabled. It doesn't do anything different from that point when I reenable the plugin except continue to work just the same.
If I disable the plugin then put the pc in suspend mode and get back into windows, it wont work cause the plugin is deactivated. I have to renable the plugin at that point for it to work.
I am using the same PS3 plugin HID that is on the thread you linked.
This is an interesting quote from that thread... "Note: some keys combination generate the same event.
This is a Remote issue." ... This is understandable but, does this also refer to it permanently being in the same state generating the same event as double keystrokes untill you disable the plugin? That's what mine is doing.
