I'm looking in the log file, and they have some strange commands, such as MceRemote.A5, MceRemote.F5, etc. Are these from the MCE remote itself, or IR signals from another remote (I'm not too sure).

How are we supposed to know the source of the signals hitting your ir receiver?
Easiest thing to do would be to keep the EG window open and try to see what remote/buttons are active when these events occur. Depending on the ir receiver, EG can certainly pick up signals not aimed at the computer.

I don't have access to the machine until the end of the week, so I was just wondering in case anyone knew. I'll assume for now that they are signals from the remote aimed at the TV itself...
