EventPhone - iPhone/iPod Touch Client for EventGhost

Just found and purchased this app... @$9.99?
Wow! Apparently the price has gone up.

I thought I was going to absolutely love this app, but it's fast becoming an annoyance.

I've successfully gotten the app to connect to my PC that I wish to control, and set it up with a few 7MC controls.

Unfortunately, when the ipod touch goes into sleep mode, it disconnects the connection.

When It comes out of sleep, if not configured to "disable sleep", it should automatically try to reconnect to the server, not sit there disabled.... What's up with that?

Could you explain "proximity detection" also? At this point, it appears pointless.

One last thing.... allowing for some GUI configuration would be highly desired.

If Eventghost allows for this kind of remote control through a server port, then maybe configuring a server page I can look up in safari would be a better alternative.

FYI everyone....

Melloware has informed me on his forum that he has been able to fix the connection problem on sleep, and has submitted version 1.3 to the itunes library.

Apple has informed me that 1.3 has been approved for the AppStore and you should be receiving the update in the next 24 hours. Just keep checking ITunes.

Thanks! I have an iPhone and Eventghost, but the price is very steep. I appreciate the innovation and the product though and wish you luck in your business. Anything involving Eventghost gets my thumbs up
