I know this was asked in a recent post but I thought I should start my own instead of tagging on his.

I use a Gyration air mouse which has multimedia keys such as volume up, down and mute. In older versions of EG they did not get to the OS when I had them assigned to a macro such as "Sound Mixer EX" or "VLC", they would only be seen by the macro.

Now when I press the keys they are seen by EG and the OS so when trying to control VLC both the player and the main system volume changes. The changes in the OS are also sporadic causing volume jumps of 5 to 12 with every keypress.

I haven't been able to find a third party program to stop these keys from reaching the OS, is there a way to make EG stop the keys from passing through like it used to?

System info,

EG 3.7 r1076

XP Pro SP3 with every upgrade I could possibly install.

The Gyration air mouse and keyboard are both seen as HID devices and the volume keys on both are seen the same by EG.

Eg does not see the windows volume up and down commands, only the button names, ie "GY1.Button.233".
