New to EventGhost

Post by jlmdxtv »

Hi All,

I'm trying out EventGhost today for the first time.

I installed the latest beta 0.3.6.1480 on a Windows XP (SP3) machine. I'm attempting to use it and a RemoteWonder to control a SageTVClient. It works fine and is easy to setup and understand - Nice job!

I'm also running ATI's Remote Wonder (atirw.exe) program - I have some working plug-ins for that already and was planning on using them. Here's an issue I'm having:

- I setup the "A" button in EventGhost to show me the SageTV recordings when SageTV is running.
- I also have the "A" button setup in the "ATIRW.exe" program to Launch Winamp (using a key sequence and setting a program shortcut key) when "windows is in focus".

But now when SageTV is in focus (and full screen), pressing the "A" button shows me the SageTV recordings as I'd expect, but also Winamp launches.

Is there a way I can prevent the ATIRW software from getting that button too if EventGhost has processed it?

Thanks, john

No.
Please post software-related questions in the forum - PMs will only be answered, if really private, thanks!

Thanks for the heads-up and quick reply. The more I play around with E.G., the more I like it! Thanks, john

jlm,
Just wait... until you figure out how fucking powerful EG is. It's simply mind boggling
I update my Avira antivirus with it, force hide my magicjack phone VOIP window.

It's simply remarkable. All thanks to Bitmonster and this great community!
