XBMC- scrolling goes super speed

Post by rflores2323 »

I am using a URC MX-810 remote that I programmed with a dummy dvd to send IR commands. I installed the XBMC plugin and I am learning how to get them to work correctly.

the problems that I have are:

1. when I press up/down or left/right the command comes up however it keeps repeating itself. So it keep scrolling very fast. I tried to put a delay however the problem still arises after the delay and the delay (wait time) makes it lag. I did this in both the xbmc plugin and also the keystroke emulator and it happens in both.

2. how do I get xbmc to open up automatically with a press of a button? I need it full screen as it tries to open in a window. Also can I have another button that I can press that can do multiple things at once for example... open xbmc>go to file library>and open search.

What XBMC plugin are you using? I suggest using Joni's

What does the EG log say? Does it show it is receiving multiple IR inputs for that same command? If it it does, it is an IR input problem, not EG

If it does not, you have some strange issue - post a screen shot of your config for XBMC's directionals

This is all in Joni's XBMC plugin
setup... XBMC, W7MC for DVR & Live OTA TV, JRMC for multi-zone audio, EG, MiCasaVerde Vera3, USB-UIRT IR receiver, Harmony remote, 5.2 home theater system
