Hauppauge IR vs MCE Remote

Post by eli2k »

I bought a Hauppauge kit that came with an IR receiver and MCE remote. In EventGhost, is the correct plugin to load the MCE Remote or the Hauppauge IR? When I loaded the MCE Remote plugin, it works fine. If I load the Hauppauge IR, the log indicates that it cannot find the device.

Thanks,
- Eli

In this case the MCE plugin is the right one.

The HauppaugeIR plugin should only be used, if the build-in IR receiver of the Hauppauge TV card is used.
