Sending keys without focus

Hi all, I just found EG and I am really excited to learn such a flexible program.

My question:

I can send keys to notepad without actually giving notepad focus. I can't seem to do it with MCE. One of the window classes isn't even found, though it appears on the list, and the parent window doesn't seem to respond to key presses if it is even receiving them. Is there a way to send these keys without giving MCE focus? I am using Windows 7 and EG is run as administrator, and seems to work in every other case.

Or is there a better way to control MCE without keystrokes?

I searched the forum and didn't find anything. Thanks in advance for your help!

You're not providing enough information. How are you sending keys to notepad, which remote plugin are you using, and what code are you using to find an MCE window?

I don't use MCE, so I don't know the best way, but there shouldn't be a reason you can't send keystrokes, so I'm trying to help with that.
