Hi

First time posting here, so please bear with me!

I've downloaded & installed EventGhost v 3.3.809.

I've plugged in the usb remote receiver that came with my Marmitek remote.

EventGhost is logging the key presses from the remote, but not actually doing anything on the pc, i.e not moving mouse pointer etc.

The original sofware that came with the remote was Showshifter & i don't really want to install that application just to get pc remote control.

Have I missed something out or am I just being thick? :oops:

Well, if you have freshly installed EG, it will use the "example" configuration. But even this one normally needs some changes, as every remote uses other events.

So I would suggest you read the wiki article "Controlling Your Living Room with EventGhost" to get the basic concepts. You may skip to chapter six:
