I got a new toy for you: a great softphone Phoner.
Supports TAPI, CAPI and even SIP !!!.
If you do not have any SIP account, get it free of charge (for example)
from iptel.org or ekiga.net and then you can make call with EventGhost!
Plugin can be downloaded from the SVN repository.
I ask about testing this plugin and report findings here.

Re: Phoner
I'am using it now for one week, and I am very happy with it.
I send the phone number from Phoner to Housebot, from there I start a script that collect the number details from the mySQL database.
If no details are found in the database then the script will try to collect them from the internet.
In the past I used a old modem to 'sniff' the phone number, now it is all in the software.
