I am running Windows 7 64bit and using EventGhost 0.3.7.r1436, although this bug also occurred in the version just before this. EventGhost runs on startup on my machine to receive signals from my X10 remote. The windows key will appear to be randomly held down at different times. If I press M on the keyboard for example, it will minimize all windows. You can still press the Windows key to load the start menu, but the only way to stop the Windows key appearing to be stuck down is to close eventghost. I tried removing the keyboard plugin from autostarting and this fixed the problem. Unfortunately, I need the keyboard plugin to send key commands.
This is how my system is currently setup. It autostarts the keyboard plugin as I need to emulate the arrow keys and enter key. I also have it working to emulate {Win+Add} when I wish to move a program from one monitor to another as this runs a command within WindowPad. I did not wish to do it this way, but it cannot send {Shift+Win+Right} properly as has already been posted and ignored in a previous bug report. I should point out that this bug still occurred when I did not have WindowPad installed, so WindowPad is not the culprit. If required, I can send logs etc if anyone can tell me how to enable and send them out.

The whole "Windows key" issue seems to be as old as EG itself, and it doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar. Best bet, IMHO, is to avoid tying events to Winkey presses.

The crazy thing is that although I have the move monitor event tied to the Windows key, that is rarely used and there have been many occasions where the key has stuck on and I haven't used a single EventGhost command or touched the remote.
