MCE remote to EventGhost thru Hauppauge IR Blaster to Receiv

I was going to acquire a universal remote but it would appear that EventGhost might be able to do what I want.

I am trying to configure my MCE remote to control my reciever volume control (volume up, volume down and mute). Eventghost is recieving the MCE remote keys successfully. I would like to program the volume buttons on the MCE remote to move the volume on my reciever using the IRBlaster functionality on my Hauppauge PVR-150. I am missing somethign obvious as I can't seem to get it to work.

Could someone point me to an example?

Another stupid thing; with Event Ghost running BeyondTV moves two clicks at at time. I am assuming that that is a result of both BeyondTV and EventGhost processing the remote button but how do I prevent that from happening.

I was able to figure out what I needed. Rather than try to use the IRBlaster functionality of the Haupauge PVR-150, I used the one that came with my MCE remote. That one had the IR Transmit action . I was able to learn the volume up and volume down commands from my reciever remote and I was off to the races.

I am sure I have lots more to learn about EventGhost but I got what I needed most urgently.

PS the double actions I was seeing must have been due to the computer not having been restarted as after the restart everything is working correctly.
