Running 0.3.7.r1436 eventghost inside of a Win7x86 vitualbox machine that running on Win7x64.
I'm trying to get the directory monitor plugin to recognize new files being added to a network directory or mounted network directory in a virtual machine. It works fine on local directories but does not pick up anything on the network ones. The network directories I'm talking about are really local but are added as network drives to the virtual machine because the virtual windows has no other way to access the other local drives on the host box....if that makes any sense to anyone.
I have a 5tb HTPC full of media and would like to have my automated system running in a virtual machine so that I have easy remote access. So far I have everything working inside the virtual windows except this directory monitor. Would love any help. Thanks.

Directory Watcher in virtual machine monitoring mounted HD?
Re: Directory Watcher in virtual machine monitoring mounted HD?
I think I got it. I needed my virtual windows on the same network and finally figured out how to do that. I had to use a bridged network instead of the nat one. Now when I watch the network folders with directory monitor it works.
