[HowTo] Assing [Del] to remove items of the Config-Tree

Post by m00k00 »

First i have to say: Sorry Bitmonster, but i was really missing this :lol: I guess you had your reason to not assign the Del-key to quickly delete items of the config-tree, anyways i was to lazy to right click and select delete everytime i want to delete an item (which happens a lot those days :D)

So here's the howto for you folks:

In your EventGhost main directory open then file "\lang\English.py" with your favorite text editor. Search for:

DeleteHotKey = ""

and replace it with

DeleteHotKey = "Del"

Now save the file, close EventGhost, reopen it and you should be done ;)

This should work at least for our german friends, too!
-> funktioniert auch, wenn man die deutsche Sprachdatei verwendet! <-

Have a nice day and happy configuring :lol:

Path changed

Post by drummer83 »

Hi,

the path seems to have changed:

EventGhost Main directory "\laguages\en_EN.py"

I think german users have to change the en_EN.py too, but french users have to change it in fr_FR.py

Have fun!
