How to use network event sender/receiver?

Post by schindi77 »

Hi!

I┬┤m using the network event sender/receiver plugin to send commands from my PC to the mediacenter (and backwards).
It works great in the direction pc->mediacenter but NOT from mediacenter->PC, both on W7 home premium.

But why?
Firewall settings are the same, firewall off doesn┬┤t help...

If I send a command (in my case TCP_MediaCenterIsOnline) to the PC I get the errormessage "network event sender failed".
The PC can be reached using the ping-command and I┬┤ve got access to my documents and files, only sending a command using the network event sender doesn┬┤t work.

Any suggestions?
