Remote Wonder II driver causes OpenGL errors
Remote Wonder II driver causes OpenGL errors
I've noticed that there are errors around my mouse cursor in some OpenGL windows (games and VLC, if set to use OpenGL). Found a few places (here's one of the discussions) where the Remtoe Wonder II background program (ATIRW.exe) was blamed, and killing it does fix the error. Anybody know of a way to do so without disabling ATIRW.exe (and therefore the remote)? Sort of annoying to have to stop and start it each time. I know this is a long shot. Thanks.
Re: Remote Wonder II driver causes OpenGL errors
Never found a workaround for this, but the black screen errors I was getting in VLC went away in version 1.10, so I was able to switch it off of OpenGL (a suggested fix I found that worked). Since my nettop plays games horribly anyway, this pretty much makes the OpenGL cursor rendering error moot.
