Special keys & differentiation between keyboard devices?

I just found out about EventGhost yesterday. I've had a FireFly remote for quite some time, but never used it all that much because of the half useless software it comes with. Thankfully, EventGhost works perfect for that, and I can now get some real use out of it!

After taking a good look at what it can do, and the nice integration with programs like Winamp, VLC & GOM Player, I just have a couple of questions. I've searched the forum, but can't find any answers to these. Any help would be very much appreciated.

1. Is there a way to catch special keys (i.e. Media keys, sleep buttons, etc...)?
2. Is it possible to differentiate between devices that all send keyboard presses? I have my regular keyboard (soon to be Das Keyboard Ultimate Silent), Belkin SpeedPad n52, Ideazon (Now SteelSeries) Z-Fang, and a Saitek P990 Gamepad. I know the P990 has most of the buttons caught with the Joystick Plugin, but all the others register the same keystrokes. I would really like to use EventGhost to customize the other gamepads, if possible.

This will be a nice addition to AutoHotKey for automation, and I'm curious to see how I can integrate them.
