I got it to work (Yamaha Receiver RX-V461)

Hi,

I got my blaster to work with my Yamaha Receiver. Thanks for this wonderfull plugin.
- At ebay i bougth a "MCE USB IR Receiver IR Blaster + IR Emitter Wire" for 17$
- I used the newest plugin (post #1) and the system drivers (no replacements)
- The blaster cable has to be very very close to the Yamaha

Unfortunately the learning function is not working (Windows 7 home premium), but i found two ways:
1) I used the IR-codes for my Yamaha 461: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthre ... st17574041. They had to be converted to Pronto-format with http://www.monmailbox.com/~raph//irhex_converter.html. Yeah, it works.
2) For my Sharp-TV I will install the blaster and Eventghost on my old XP-Computer. I hope the learning function will work.

So after some trubble I'm also an satisfied customer.
