Hi
I am new to eventghost but am finding it is absolutely brilliant.
I am using RS232/Serial plugin to control my lighting system (helvar) but have a small problem.
I try to read back the command acknowledgement with a serial read straight after the serial write.
But I do not see any data in the event window.
Does anyone know if I am correctly expecting the data to appear or do I need a different approach?
Thanks

RS232 control
Re: RS232 control
Thanks Pako
But how do I use the {eg.result}? Do I add it after the serial sent command or do I format it another way. Sorry I am missing this but I just don't quite understand the syntax.
Thanks

Re: RS232 control
How can I respond?
I do not know what data you expect and what to do with them then put you intend to do.
It would be best if you said an example.
