General question about events and OS Menu

I'm trying to set up an OS Menu in EventGhost, I noticed that it's enough to use the action for "OS Menu: Show menu" to show the menu and once that has occurred I can navigate in the menu using the arrow keys in the keyboard + enter to select an item on the list.
Now I want to control the menu with my MCE Remote and not with my keyboard.
I'm not sure this is the way to do it but I simply added the MCE remote as a plugin and started defining actions and events - "MceRemote.Down" is affiliated with "OS Menu: Cursor Down" (see attached screen shot).

Now it seems EventGhost will always try to do Cursor Down whenever "MceRemote.Down" is triggered, even if the OS Menu hasn't been shown...!
Can I have some nested triggers, where OS Menu: Cursor Down will only be activated if OS Menu: Show menu has been fired first?

I'm not sure this is necessary, I would appreciate it if you guys could take a look at the screenshot and tell me if my configuration makes sense or am I doing something convoluted here (and there's a simpler solution to what I'm trying to do)

Here is what I do:

1. Create a sub-folder under the "OS Menu" folder. You can call it "OS Menu Control" if you like.

2. Move all your OS Menu actions (except "OS Menu: Show Menu") into the sub-folder "OS Menu Control". For example, "OS Menu: OK" and OS Menu: DOWN".

3. Right-click on the "OS Menu Control" folder and select "Disable Item".

4. Add the action "Enable an item" in your "OS Menu: Show Menu" macro. The item that you want to enable is the "OS Menu Control" folder.

5. Add the action "Disable an item" in all macros (OK and Down) in the "OS Menu Control" folder. The item to disable is the "OS Menu Control" folder.

I see that you do not understand the function and I have something to add.
Although kalia advised "correctly ", but all this measure is completely unnecessary.
Look at the this picture:

Pay particular attention to the left side of the picture (log).
The same events (Up / Down) are used to both folders: OS menu and Test.
If the menu is displayed, then execute the actions only in folder OS menu.
If the menu is not displayed, then execute the actions in folder Test.
A precondition for such work is the layout:
Folder OS menu must be placed above the folder Test!

Please - please confirm that you understand!
